Exploring our desire to decorate and beautify our surroundings Columbian-born Catalina Garces de los Rios inserts crocheted flowers amongst the leaves of a tree. Simultaneously
blending in and contrasting with the stream and blossoming shrubs of the park, the work reflects on the transformation of materials and on the boundaries of “natural” and “artificial.”
