Construction Gallery - Call for Artists

POST Artists will be running a pop-up gallery in Tooting from 12 January to 24 March 2012. The gallery is in a recently vacated shop-fronted building. The space consists of seven small project spaces, a shop, a cafe with free wifi and a main space dedicated to large-scale sculpture and installation works.

POST are inviting expressions of interest from artists living or working within a 5 mile radius of Tooting Broadway. All media welcome, however the spaces particularly suit sound, performance, film/video, sculpture, installation and site-responsive practices. Please e-mail marketpostart [at] gmail [dot] com with a link to your website, up to three images of current work, a CV and an artists statement.

Shortlisted artists will be invited to view the space and discuss proposed works with the curators. We will be arranging a first viewing of the space in the week before Christmas so please get in touch asap.

The project is thanks to Tooting Arts Network and Tooting Town Centre Management and is funded by the Outer London Fund.
